Let’s be honest — Rummikub is really just an excuse. The tiles give everyone something to focus on, the game creates just enough friendly competition to keep things interesting, and somewhere in the middle of it all, genuine friendships form.
Rummikub gathering is our bi-monthly fellowship time, held Tuesday afternoons in the Chapel. We push tables together, set up multiple games, bring snacks, and spend a couple of hours simply being neighbors. No agenda. No program. Just people enjoying one another’s company.
Never played Rummikub? Perfect — we will teach you in ten minutes and you might just win. Played a thousand times and have strong opinions about strategy? Also perfect. We have people for that too.
This event is open to everyone — members, regulars, newcomers, neighbors. If you’ve been thinking about checking out Abundant Life but aren’t quite sure about a Sunday morning, Rummikub afternoons are a low-key, high-fun way to meet the community first.
