ALRC vs Pompton Plains

The 2017 Atlantic Stewardship Bank Inter-Church Softball League Regular Season is now complete.  It came to an end with yet another entertaining game between ALRC and Pompton Plains.  There was a good fan turnout for this game, and those people are smart.  Afterall, the Mets and Yankees were both off, and with neither MLB teams in action, there’s not a better game…

ALRC vs Restore

After losing back-to-back games last week, ALRC entered this game looking to avoid a third consecutive loss.  Restore was looking to snap their losing streak against the Green&White.  In the preview, the following words were written:  “Last year ALRC approached the Fourth of July weekend with a record of 4-4, but before the holiday weekend could begin they had a game against…

ALRC vs Preakness

When these two teams met last year, it was a thrilling one-run game that even required extra innings.  There were so many positive adjectives used to describe last year’s game.  That’s what happens in this historical league with over a half-century of history, especially when two solid teams like this meet on the field.  However, that recap wasn’t written with a 100%…

ALRC vs Midland Park

ALRC vs UnityOne

Maybe it was the fact that ALRC lost to UnityOne last year in the playoffs, when a win in that game would have sent the Green&White to their first ever Championship Game.  Maybe it was the fact that ALRC has lost 12 times in 13 years to UnityOne, more than any other team in the league.  Or maybe it was the fact…

ALRC vs Faith Hill

NHL fans watched Faith Hill sing the National Anthem prior to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Sunday night.  Later that evening, they once again saw Sidney Crosby and his Penguins teammates hoisting the League’s Championship trophy.  It was a REPEAT Championship for the City of Pittsburgh.  No Repeat though in the NBA, as the Warriors refused to allow Cleveland…

ALRC vs Saint Paul’s

It was ALRC and St Paul’s to begin the start of Memorial Day weekend.  St Paul’s was seeking their first win of the season, while ALRC was looking for some consistency as they were hopeful to pull-off back-to-back wins for the first time this season.  The preview talked about how the Green&White seem to have different player attendance scenarios each game, which…
